Clinical focus
My clinical work centres on three fields of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Surgical correction of skeletal jaw discrepancies through maxillary, mandibular and bimaxillary osteotomies – planned together with orthodontics to restore function, occlusion and facial balance.
Treatment of benign and malignant tumours of the oral cavity, jaws and face, followed by reconstruction that aims to restore form and function.
Management of facial injuries – fractures of the mandible, midface, zygoma and orbit as well as soft-tissue trauma – from primary care to secondary correction.

I am a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery and Deputy Senior Consultant at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, University Hospital St. Pölten, Austria. I also teach at Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences in Krems.
